Kiran Nadkarni has been associated with India Alternatives since 2010. He is a pioneer in private equity investing in India with around two decades of experience. He founded and managed TDICI (now ICICI Ventures), India’s first venture capital firm, and has made investments and exits across multiple economic cycles.
Previously, he was a partner at Draper International, a venture capital firm investing in India and the USA, and co-founded Jumpstartup, another firm focused on India and the USA. Kiran also served as the founding Chairman of the Indian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (IVCA).
Leveraging his vast experience, Kiran transitioned into entrepreneurship, founding Kaati Zone, a pioneering venture in the Indian QSR sector, which was successfully sold.
Kiran has completed his B. Tech. from IIT Kanpur.
